SHIPPING GUIDE

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Due to the increase in international shipment fees, we vary our shipment couriers (DHL, Ghana Post, or sometimes, Correos) depending on the order and stock availability. Our goal is to offer the fastest and most cost-effective delivery option, which is why we provide multiple choices.

  • All jewelry and small baskets are shipped through DHL Express: 8€ worldwide. Your package will be delivered in 5-7 business days. Free shipment on orders over 160 €.

  • Big Baskets are shipped through Ghana Post: 8€ worldwide. Your package will be delivered in 12 - 18 business days. Free shipment on orders over 160 €.

  • Our long-term option is offered for large orders or heavy items. We ship these orders - via freight aircraft - the first week of the month directly to our warehouse in Spain. Once the order arrives in Spain, we use the national Spanish post, Correos, to deliver your shipment. Your package will be delivered in a maximum of 6-7 weeks. Contact us for inquiries.

* BASKET ORDERS NOTE: In an effort to keep shipping costs more affordable, we ship our baskets flattened. This does not hurt the baskets in any way as they are very durable and flexible. Along with your package, you will find a document titled ‘How to wet your basket.’ This will provide you step-by-step instructions to easily reshape your basket in minutes. PROCESSING & TRACKING ORDER

When you order one of our products we will send you a confirmation email with your order number & billing information. All orders go through a credit card approval process. Orders are not released for shipment until this verification is complete.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and the post name so you can track your parcel.

*Ghana Post tracking may not update until your package reaches its destination. However, we follow up regularly to ensure your order is on its way. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

CUSTOMS & IMPORT CHARGES

The shipping price does not include duty or customs charges that may be incurred on shipments in your country. Please check with your countries customs offices or DHL express service before your order.

Aketekete is not responsible and will not refund for lost or stolen packages post-delivery. Missing packages claims must be filled by the customer

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

AKETEKETE pieces are handmade products in which variations in colors, patterns and sizes can be expected. AKETEKETE does not accept any return because of these irregularities.

However, if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you can contact us within 7 days after delivery. If accepted, you may return the goods, unused and undamaged with the same label and box to the returning address we would provide you. The return postage must be paid by the customer. There is no return possibility on on-sale products.

SIGNATURE AND DELIVERY ADDRESS

All international packages require a signature upon delivery; a tracking number will be provided once the shipment is made.

Incorrect personal details may lead to delays in delivery, so please ensure that you have included full address details and telephone number before placing your order.
